We finally burst out of our Soho office in London last month and moved our London HQ to a cool new base in King Street in the heart of Covent Garden.
King Street offers us six floors of state-of-the-art workspace.
This includes an amazing roof terrace where our people can take meetings and eat their lunches in the sunshine, high above the crowded streets of Central London.
We’ve already christened the roof terrace with a couple of company barbecues, the first of several parties we’ve got planned this summer.
The new London HQ also gives us lots more room to entertain our clients and partners and, crucially, to gather together as a team.
We’ve got a beautiful space by the kitchen where we meet for weekly company meetings and announcements. As ever, we fill our fridges with healthy options for breakfast, lunch and dinner because our employees tell us that wellbeing is important to them. In that same vein, the new King Street base has a ‘wellness room’ where staff are leading classes for one another in meditation, yoga and more. Qubit has also signed a deal to pay for gym membership for anyone among its its London workforce that pledges to go and workout twice a week or more.
With a new London HQ sorted, attention has turned to New York where the team is growing fast. Contracts have been signed on a smart new base in Madison Avenue which is being fitted out for an imminent move.
Making our teams feel loved and valued, is something that Qubit takes seriously. Maintaining and increasing employee engagement forms one of our six published goals for 2015.
We’re a very disruptive technology in our space. As we continue to innovate and evolve our products, word is growing of our capability; the biggest clients in ecommerce are taking notice. We’re tracking at triple digit growth globally which puts us well on our way to achieving our goals as a business.
But none of our goals are even close to achievable unless we meet our ambitious goal to make Qubit employees the happiest workforce in the market.
